NURSING HOMES
Entrust has a substantial stake in two nursing homes with a total of more than 400 licensed beds. The homes provide short-term convalescent and respite care, post-surgery step down care, as well as long-term stay and rehabilitation. Our homes are purpose built with lift services to all floors and well-ventilated wards. We have a spacious and hygienic environment and activity areas for communal and social gatherings including a garden for outdoor strolls. Other amenities include shower trolleys for bed-bound residents, non-slip flooring and safety rails in toilets as well as physiotherapy equipment.
Precious Nursing Home is a 4-storey facility with 259 beds at 6 Lengkok Bahru, off Jalan Bukit Merah. It was established in 2004. Pacific Eldercare and Nursing is a 5-storey facility with 177 beds at 21 Senja Road and received our first resident in 2013. Both homes are Medifund-accredited intermediate and long-term care facilities. We are able to manage patients with a wide spectrum of disabilities including those requiring tube-feeding or palliative care and patients with dementia. Our physiotherapy assistants also help in post-stroke recovery. We also have full-time social workers on hand to tend to the emotional needs of our residents.
While most of us would prefer to care for our parents and grandparents at home, nursing homes allow them to receive round-the-clock attention when their health deteriorates. Our goal is to provide our residents with a comfortable and safe environment where they can rest, recover and rehabilitate. Our hardworking and dedicated nurses have years of experience in caring for the elderly. They are trained to assist in daily tasks such as hygiene and bathing and ensure that our seniors have proper nutrition. They engage our seniors in activities like arts and craft, helping them to remain mentally alert and age joyfully. Living with other seniors also ensure that they remain socially connected, enriching their lives.
